In the winter corner
there the
electric coil
riots through
cold near night
30 years after
monumental snows
fresh faced, fractals
proceed to seem
the same, I
have unbound my
heart, mid-valentines
& find no warmth
there for love
foot prints unfound
drawn deep into
snow banked streets-
a city silent buried,
washed under soft electric
glow- motionless
crystalline (my heart
my heart) cold- sterile
refusing loves lustrous heat.
